We are very happy to present you our new game, Dogolrax with it.s first trailer and playable Demo.
This is a dark themed retro action/adventure platformer that is heavily influenced by cult classics of the past such as “Another World/Out of this world”, “Flashback”, “Shadow of the beast” and countless others.
Have a look at our trailer, demo and please stop to our greenlight page to vote, so we can get this game in your hands ASAP!
We’re releasing Uncraft’Em All tommorow, november 23rd on XBox Indie Games for 1$ !
The concept is a little different in this game. Instead of 8 big levels, we’re doing 24 mini levels, each one having it’s own girl to save.
PC Gamers : We’re not forgetting you. Everything in Uncraft’Em All will be part of Uncraft World, which we will release on Steam in 2015 and will have 25+ long levels (Like Uncraft Me 1-2), 25+ mini level (Like Uncraft’Em All), COOP Multiplayer (in long levels), Competitive multiplayer (in mini levels), a map editor and a way to distribute your creations ! Beta applications are still welcome, as we’ll certainly launch it once we believe the map editor is in good enough shape to start getting some of you guys involved đŸ™‚ It’s already pretty far along but we still got some distance to go before we’re comfortable getting it into your hands.
Firstly, we’re changing the name of the Steam version from Uncraft Me Ultimate to Uncraft World ! This new name reflects our desire to make the PC version focus on creating a great sense of community around the game.
We’re happy to announce that in addition to the map editor that will have thorough sharing capabilities, the Steam version will also feature both competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. We have cool new concepts to introduce for the multiplayer modes though for now I’ll keep it at that ;-D
The first look at the competitive mode will be live at Anime/Manga festival Otakuthon 2014 in Montreal on august 22, 23, 24 at the Palais des Congrès. We will have a small booth where you can come meet me and play a quick multiplayer demo against a friend. We will also sell prints of some goddesses, soundtrack cds and miscellaneous art books and cards from one of our collaborating artist : Shawli Chen (NSFW)
EDIT – Due to the question coming back often, here’s our current POSITION ON RELEASE DATE :
As far as release date, we’re considering 2 possibilities :
1 : Steam early access in late 2014
2 : Free multiplayer demo with 10+ levels but no map editor in late 2014 timed with a Kickstarter campaign and a real final release at or past mid 2015. The free PC multiplayer could possibly also be available on XBOX LIVE INDIE GAMES for 1$ (can’t do free on xbox).
Right now my favorite option would be the Kickstarter and late release, because I believe that to create a good multiplayer community we need a lot of content and tools right from the start so that the ball gets rolling quickly and never loses steam. I also think that Kickstarter would do really well for us because we can offer some compelling physical items (FantomenK soundtrack rocks and the prints we will have at Otakuthon look very good !)
I’m afraid that early access wouldn’t bring enough people / keep them interested long enough so that there’s enough of a critical mass of players for the multiplayer experience to really shine.
Our Steam greenlight campaign is still in progress. So far, we have 4800 votes and are 59% of the way to the top 100 games on greenlight.
With the extra flow of votes we hope to get in reaction to Uncraft Me 2 on XBLIG, we hope that we’ll get greenlighted in the next few months, but we need you more than ever to make that happen !
PC Version status
We’re going to start work on the PC version of Uncraft Me in the next few weeks and hope to have a final version ready for late 2014.
For this version, we’ll have :
-20+ levels (including those from UCM1 and 2, plus a few exclusive ones)
-Some new enemies/challenges/powerups
-Very robust map editor. This is where 50+% of the development work will go forward. We really want to go above and beyond when it comes to making the most user friendly, powerful and efficient map editor possible. All creations will be easily shareable with any one who owns a PC copy of the game. Maps will also be reviewable to make sure anyone can easily access the best user creations and play them.
Uncraft ME ! is an action jetpack game where you must fly through a cubified world to save sexy goddesses so that they can restore the world and all of it’s inhabitants to it’s old form.
The game starts out quite easy, but gets really difficult in the later levels !
It is currently available on xbox live indie games for 1$ and in Steam greenlight process for it’s PC counterpart.
We want to bring Uncraft Me ! to the PC, but not as a simple port ! If we are to succeed in our greenlight campaign, we’ll make the following additions to the games before releasing :
Atleast 15 levels (9 on xbox)
More enemies, powerups, obstacle types.
Powerful level editor
In game seamless access to user created content, sortable by most popular, best ranked, difficulty and release date
